As we dive into the new year we are thinking about what we want to achieve in 2022. As with every start to a new year we are excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to get stuck in. Below we have written out what Alix Digital hopes to achieve in 2022 (not including financials).
As a Team, our main mission is to help businesses of all sizes get the marketing they deserve! Our work this year will be predominantly focused on doing exactly this.
We are also planning on hitting some really exciting goals and achievements for all of our current clients, as well as keeping up to date with all that’s new in the world of digital marketing, to ensure that our clients are getting the best results possible. After all, our client’s goals are our goals!
In early 2022 we will be working with Safecontractor, a branch of a company called Alcamus, to help businesses learn more about social media. This year we would like to continue to collaborate with great businesses & continue to build relationships with amazing brands.
We also aim to further help with upskilling and educating people about digital marketing. This will be done through helpful tips and tricks uploaded to our social media and blog as well as with our range of training courses available throughout the year.
Our Managing Director, Alix, is hoping to continue to make Alix Digital a great place to work. The average person will spend 90,000 hours at work over a lifetime and that is too many hours to dedicate to something you don’t enjoy. As the team grows, she wants to ensure that the team is happy, comfortable and enjoy the work they do.
We also have an overarching goal to continue growing the business with more clients, more work and potentially more staff in the latter part of the year. Exciting stuff!
The Teams New Year’s Resolutions
As well as company goals we’ve also been thinking about our personal goals for 2022. If you haven’t chosen your new year’s resolutions yet, read on for some inspiration!
Managing Director – Alix Charles
Alix wants to continue to work on her time management. She has recently been using the Pomodoro Technique which helps busy people get tasks completed without distraction. It also encourages rest and breaks to make time more efficient.
She also wants to get back to the gym and would like to do more activities and go to more places with her son.
Digital Marketing Executive – Gemma Tooth Phillips
Gemma wants to read 1 book a month, alternating between fiction and self development books & would like to take up Yoga. She would also like to start a new hobby in 2022!
Digital Marketing Executive – Emily Sophia Davies
Emily’s personal aim is to try and be present in the moment. Whether this is at her desk at work, out walking the dog or even doing the dishes – to be present and find joy in every small moment in life.
Her professional resolution is to stop swearing in the office. In her words – “I can be quite a potty mouth at times but it is only because I am passionate about my work”. Her aim is to communicate her joy, passion & frustrations in a more polite manner.
Her family goal/resolution is to sell her partner’s car & buy a campervan to upcycle so her, her partner and her dog can explore more of what the UK has to offer.
Digital Marketing Assistant – Saffron Waite
Saffron wants to be more active and eat less takeaways in 2022 & improve her Knowledge of Digital Marketing by keeping up to date with new tools and theory’s.
Digital Marketing Assistant – Eve Marie Price
I would like to prioritize doing something I love everyday, whether that be reading, gardening, baking or playing with my cat, Smudge. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and with a full time job and part time education on the go it’s easy to lose track of living with intention.
At work I would like to keep learning more about digital marketing and soak up the expertise I’m fortunate enough to be surrounded by at the office. I would also like to continue to work on my task management – at the moment I am using todoist to keep track of everything I have on the go and this is really helpful!
